Mission
The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology seeks to train Biochemists and Molecular Bioscientists with a modern view of the living world. The Department provides theoretical, practical and field training for acquiring the relevant knowledge and skills, using teaching, making observations on/experimenting with living systems and bio-molecules in the laboratories and industrial settings. Attention is paid on the applications of molecular and biochemical concepts to human and veterinary medicine, agriculture, environmental protection, service industries and biotechnology as a whole.
