Objectives
To familiarise students with the most commonly used biological materials and knowledge of the latest experimental techniques in cell and viral culture. Primary techniques used to culture and manipulate certain cells, viruses and experimental organisms will be described.
Contents
Growth of micro organisms in Culture; Growth of plant and animal cells in culture; The use of Hybrid cells in genetic Analysis of Animal Cells and production of monoclonal Antibody; Radioisotopes in follow-up of biological activities; Culture media and importance of additives.
