Objectives

To provide basic knowledge on helminth systematics, ecology, morphological, characteristics and their role in diseases of animals and humans.

Contents

The course deals with the structure, morphology, classification and life cycle of helminths (Trematodes, Cestodes, Nematodes). The diseases caused by helminths, diagnosis, host range, vectors, epidemiology, transmission and control.
