Objectives

To introduce students to basic methodology and communication techniques in carrying out mathematical research; appropriate text and data processing soft wares for preparing mathematical essays; literature research methodology through the study and presentation of advanced topics in mathematics.

Contents

This course will be organized in a purely seminar format, involving the teaching staff and the students; Students will receive a priori lectures and will then be given long assignments to carry out using the available computational and soft ware facilities of the Department.
