Objectives

To enable students to carryout original research using recent experimental techniques, and be able to present the results in a logical way.

Contents

An acceptablePh.D. Research Project/Thesis. research project on a problem selected with the guidance of an academic staff in the relevant field of specialisation. The topic must be approved by the Departmental Postgraduate Board or Committee and investigated under the supervision of the academic staff in the specialty. The research must lead to a significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge and the presentation of an acceptable thesis to be defended before a panel of examiners.
