Objectives

This course aims to provide students with knowledge and critical understanding of the principles of parasite epidemiology and their practical application.

Contents

Population biology of parasites; Factors of emergence of parasitic diseases; effects of environmental changes on emerging parasitic diseases; patterns of macroparasite abundance and aggregation in wildlife population; Invasion, persistence and spread of parasitic organisms.
