Objectives

To provide a practical training that demonstrates many of the techniques and methods in learnt in the programme and elsewhere; Also to give students hands-on research and thesis writing experiences.

Contents

Experiments lasting up to a week or more will be carried out by students under supervision. Such experiments will involve a variety of activities from sample collection and processing, analysis, interpretation of results and reporting in a relevant topic in Clinical Microbiology and Parasitology, Clinical Haematology, Clinical Biochemistry and Endocrinology, Histopathology and Cytology. Students will be required to report their results using a journal article format with citations.
