To study on a comparative basis the physiological processes in vertebrates with focus on mechanisms and clinical applications.

Molecular physiology of major tissues; organs and systems of vertebrates: cellular physiology; neurophysiology; electrophysiology; sensory physiology; endocrinology and reproduction; cardiovascular physiology; respiratory physiology; renal physiology and homeostasis; gastrointestinal physiology; hepatic physiology and thermoregulation; Introduction to pathophysiology.
