Objectives
To provide a practical experience in an environment-related field comprising an introductory training in research methods and two weeks stay in an industry, a community, or an ongoing project in, for example, a Research Institute, a Corporation, a Ministry, or an Institution.
Contents
Elementary lectures on Research Methodology; Selection of research topic by student; Collection of data on a research topic designed and approved by a supervisor. Processing of the data; interpreting and preparation of a dissertation of about 5000 words, which is then assessed during the sixth semester; The project could also be based on a critical review of a topic proposed by a supervisor who will equally ensure that the student has access to relevant literature on the topic.
