tOrigin and evolution of cultivated plants with special reference to those in Cameroon; Productivity and the economic aspects of the utilisation of world food resources; Economic aspects of land use; classification and botanical characteristics of plants used as food and as sources of fibre, oil, drugs, timber and fuel; Plant growth in crop production; Propagation of crop plants by vegetative methods – Biology of vegetative propagation; Weeds and their competition with crops.
