Objectives

To increase the student's repertoire of algorithms and data structures which are valuable equipment for solving problems via computers.

Contents

Concept and use of functions/procedures: parameter passing; scope of identifiers; various algorithms and data structures; word-processing and presentation of graphics; databases and/or other office tools (e.g. spreadsheets); numerical and/or statistical packages; library routines; programming; use of various software and utilities.
