Objectives

To provide skills of searching and retrieving literature, analysis and logical presentation of botanical data, and the use of modern communication techniques for the dissemination of scientific information.

Contents

Principles of scientific writing; sources of botanic literature; electronic search engines; audio-visual aids and seminar presentation. Students shall be required to search literature and write up a long essay on topics of current interest in any of the disciplines in botany.
