There are no formal lectures for this course. However, the student will have at least 3 hours per week of discussion with the supervisor. The student will be given assigned readings and carry out research work and finally write aa acceptable thesis thesis to be defended before a panel of examiners. The research must lead to a significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge.
