Types of nutrients: macronutrients, micronutrients, major nutrients, minor nutrients; Functions of nutrients; Anti-nutritional factors; Food analysis: proximate composition, measures of protein quality; Assessment of nutritional states; Diet and diseases: balanced diet, over nutrition and under nutrition (malnutrition).
