Electrical Properties of Earth Materials, conduction in metals, semiconductors, water bearing rocks; The Direct Current Resistivity Method , electric potential (Laplace's equation), resistivity measurements, electrode configurations in resistivity surveys (Werner, Schlumberger and dipole-dipole arrays), interpretation of resistivity data; The Self Potential (SP) Method , origin of SP, instrumentation, field procedure, interpretation; The Induced Polarization (IP) Method , sources of the IP effect, measurement techniques, interpretation; Electromagnetic Methods, general principles, the Magneto-Telluric (MT) Method, the Turam EM Method.
