Parasite isolation, identification and culture; Microscopic and molecular diagnosis in hosts and vectors; A Review of immunology; Immune reactions to parasites; Immune evasion mechanisms; Pathogenic Mechanisms; Vaccination against parasitic infections; The great WHO parasites: Plasmodium, trypanosomes, schistosomes, filariae and leishmania.
