To apply group theory and the role of symmetry in theoretical and condensed matter Physics.

Group representations, properties of irreducible representations, direct products and Clebsch-Gordon series, SO (N) and SU (N), applications in Physics, the Poincaré group and single-particle states, abelian and non Abelian gauge invariance, geometrical and topological properties of gauge fields, solitons ans instantons, Majourana fermions, Wess-Zumino models.
