Concept of metabolic regulation; Methods for studying metabolic regulation; Role of enzymes and the traditional approaches to the study of metabolic regulation; Metabolic control analysis: principles, applications and limitations. Control of key cellular processes: differentiation, proliferation and cell death. Review of current trends in metabolic regulation.
