Microbial nutrition and growth taking into consideration batch and continuous cultivation of microorganisms; biosynthesis and biooxidation of macromolecules; enzymes and use of microorganisms in bioassays; the genetic organization and control of gene expression in microorganisms; DNA techniques and improvement in strain quality.
