Objectives

To provide detailed knowledge on the theories and mechanisms of immunity and the applications of immunologic methods.

Contents

A detailed study of the immune response in relation to cells and tissues of the immune system; antigen-antibody interactions; and the complement cascade; will be covered; Immunologic tolerance; immunosuppression; autoimmunity and transplantation immunology; hypersensitivity; prophylactic and therapeutic applications of immunology.
