To provide knowledge on morphology, physiology, reproduction and pathogenicity of fungi and an understanding of the nature of parasitism.

Contents

The occurrence, morphology, development of fungal spores; physiology and metabolism of fungi; properties and reproduction of Eumycotina, fungi-like organisms; symbiotic relations of fungi and the practical importance of fungi; Laboratory methods for the study of pathogenic fungi; pathology and immunology of superficial, subcutaneous, systemic mycoses and actinomycoses; toxic and useful metabolites of fungi
