Objectives

To treat the Theory of Categories in its general abstract form with applications to concrete categories which are of special interest to research students; The topics chosen will depend on the interest of the students.

Contents

Categories, Functors and natural transformations; Constructions on categories, Universals and limits, Adjoints, Limits, Abelian Categories; Special limits; Other topics such as Graph Theory may be treated.
