To introduce the students to the basic theory of functions of a complex variable and to complex analysis methods.

Complex numbers; The Complex plane; Sequences and series of complex numbers; Limits, continuity and differentiability; Analytic functions; Contour integral; Cauchy integral theorem and formula; Maximum/Minimum modulus principle; Complex integral; Uniformly convergent series of complex functions and Weiertrass theorems; Power and Taylor series; Abel's Theorem; Laurent series and classification of singularities; Residues.
