Objectives

To examine environmental laws at the international and national levels with regards to pollution and the use of natural resources.

Contents

The principles and background of environmental law including the differences among civil, criminal and administrative law; International and National Environmental law and legal control of environmental pollution; The Environmental Policy Cycle and political decision making; Policies in locating and managing industries in urban areas; transport policies; economic instruments for environmental protection and auditing; International treaties and conventions and the environmental incentives and other factors for locating partners for foreign trade as envisaged in Third World countries and Cameroon in particular.
