Objectives

To train students to carry out independent research in a selected area of Computer Science and Computational Mathematics.

Contents

There are no formal lectures for this course but the student holds discussions regularly with the supervisor and reports on his/her research progress and well as findings. The research must lead to a significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge and the presentation of an acceptable thesis to be defended before a panel of examiners.
