Objectives

To provide skills in breadth on issues arising from domain/specialty of research, on philosophical issues and concerns and possible ethical requirements.

Contents

Historical; application domains; overview of models (or approaches) methodologies applicable; Relevant systems and metrics; Philosophical issues/concerns; Possible ethical Systems; Analyses of systems and specific models/methodologies applicable; Validation issues in methodologies; management issues. It must be in the same research discipline as CSC 718, if CSC 718 is taken. (The chosen research domain, or equivalent course title, is specified in transcripts.)
