Objectives

To provide a set of tools for discovery and visualization of significant patterns in data by looking at various data mining tools, how they work, and the types of knowledge they can discover.

Contents

Data warehousing; data pre-processing; data mining primitives; concept description; mining association rules; classification; cluster analysis; complex data types; applications. Software such as Clementine; S-Plus and SPSS will be used, though others could be used instead.
