Objectives

To expose students on how to collect data or information on a topic and present a seminar in an academic environment.

Contents

A seminar on a topic selected under the advice of a supervisor. Students present talks to lecturers and their peers. The seminar talk together with a write up on the topic will be graded. During the presentation, senior members of academic staff in the department will all grade the student while the write up will be graded by the supervisor. Participation in activities counting towards this course starts at least a semester before the one the student is evaluated in.
