Objectives

To explore aspects of equipment selection and specification of propriety and non-propriety equipment; topics such as piping, basic engineering details.

Contents

The nature and methodology of design processes; Anatomy and organization of a chemical manufacturing process; organization; handling and representation of chemical process design; Chemical engineering drawing and flow sheeting; fluid handling process; industry valves and pumps; fluid and solid storage mechanics; design and piping systems and instrumentation; aspects of mechanical design of Process Equipment; chemical plant sites chemical reactor design; Fluid handling process: industry, values and pumps; fluid and solid storage mechanics; Design of piping systems.
