To equip students with the detailed biology of true fungi, their economic and ecological importances.
Contents
An advanced treatment of the biology and taxonomy of the Mastigomycotina (Zoosporic fungi), Zygomycotina, Ascomycotina and the Basidiomycotina. Labs will include isolation and cultural techniques and herbarium collections.
