Insects as pests; development of pest status; economic threshold; economic injury level; Insecticide science; classification of insecticides; insecticide formulation and application; insecticide biochemistry and physiology, insecticide resistance; biological control, classification of biocontrol agents; practice of biological control; approaches to biological control; economics of biological control; Cultural practices; crop rotation; mixed cropping; destruction of crop residues etc.; other pest control methods: use of resistant varieties; genetic control; physical methods; legislative control; Integrated pest management; pest assessment; forecasting and predictive monitoring; national and international pest management; components of an IPM.
