Productivity and exploitation of aquatic communities; ecological consequences of human modification of the water cycle; aquatic; terrestrial; air pollution; waste disposal and hazard control; effects of agricultural and industrial inputs to freshwater and estuarine ecosystems; pesticides; effects of food-chain concentration and acid rain; field exercises and visits.
