Co-evolution between parasites and their hosts; between pests and their host plants; other co-evolutionary associations; animal life on land - a comparison between selected groups; environmental requirements of particular animal groups; reproductive patterns of selected animal groups and their significance in survival; non-arthropod disease vectors/plant pests - life cycles; population dynamics; migration; role in transmission of parasite infections/pest status; control; nnimal trypanosomiasis in Africa; human trypanosomiasis; resistance to pesticides/anthelmintics/drugs; environmental and genetic influence on animal behaviour.
