Variational principles and Lagrange’s equations, kinematics of rigid body motion using Euler’s theorem and Cayley-Klein parameters, Special relativity using Lagrangian formulations, covariant four dimensional formulations, Hamilton’s equations, canonical transformations, Hamilton-Jacobi theory.
