Objectives
To study the gross and fine structures, development and functions of human organ systems.
Contents
The gross anatomy (studied by unaided sight and touch), histology (structures revealed under light microscope); ultra-structure (structure revealed under electron microscope) and developmental anatomy (tracing development from the fertilized ovum to adult state) of the different systems of the body considered in sequence will be studied in detail; The normal functions (physiology) of the locomotor; cardiovascular; nervous, endocrine, digestive as well as the respiratory and urinogenital systems, and the skin.
