Bacterial systematics, host-parasite relationship including the concepts of normal flora: characterisation tests for systematic bacteriology; aetiology; epidemiology; pathogenic mechanisms including clinical symptoms; laboratory diagnosis; chemotherapy and control of bacterial infections.
