Objectives

To train students to carry out independent research in a selected area of Mathematics.

Contents

Student holds discussions regularly with the supervisor and reports on his/her research progress. The research must lead to a significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge and the presentation of an acceptable thesis to be defended before a panel of examiners.
