Objectives

To study some areas of the Theory of Rings and Modules and at motivating research in such areas.

Contents

Topics in the Theory of Rings and modules such as Projective, Injective, and Flat Modules; Artinian and Noetherian modules; Semi-simple modules and rings; Local rings and modules; Semi-perfect modules and perfect rings; Localization of non-commutative rings; Group rings etc; The topics treated will depend on the interests of the students.
