Contents

An advanced study of the land uses and planning, land use types, spatial distribution with the use of overlays and GIS, significance of runoff in some selected land use types; the mechanics of accelerated erosion and factors affecting erosion and management techniques. The worlds land resources, with emphasis on the national land resources and land use patterns; The effects of various land use patterns on soil erosion control and management; Land degradation, its effects management, and control.
