To provide current knowledge and innovations in the areas of causes, effects and adaptation strategies to climate change.

Contents

Variations of the Earth’s climate in the past and how it will change in the future; Major causes of climate change and possible mitigation approaches: Effects of air pollution on air quality, on cloud cover and on climate change; impacts of climate change in the sectors of water resources, agriculture and food security, health, and development and examples of case studies; Hazards and disasters induced by climate change and case studies; Adaptation strategies to the impacts of climate change in each sector.
