To provide training on the principles of wildlife and plant ecology in relation to human life and sustainability.

Principles of plant and wildlife dynamics; Natural resource exploitation, sustainability and rural poverty reduction; Natural resources economics and community base benefit sharing; Principles of natural resources renewal, habitat reconstruction, and stabilisation; Population attributes, population distribution patterns, measurements and sampling techniques; Ecology, conservation and environmental management systems; Classification and ecology of algae; Oceanography of harmful algal blooms; stratification, and species distribution; Biodiversity and environmental changes; characteristics and adoption of harmful algae; Modelling and prediction of harmful algal blooms; Fisheries exploitation, conservation, preservation and management.
