To provide the elementary features of circuits in communication technology and basic signal processing.
Contents
Representation of deterministic signals; convolution and Fourier integrals; filtering, modulation and sampling; auto and cross correlation, power spectra; random signals and noise; discrete signals and transform, DFT and FFT; Introduction to analogue and digital communication; sampling technology, pulse modulation - PAM, PCM, delta modulation etc; data transmission - SK, PSK, DPSK, M-ary modulation; modems, LANS, computer communication, examples for typical communication systems - microwave, satellite, optical etc.
