To complement the software development skills of students necessary for programme course options and/or industry. It is biased towards software engineering techniques and practices but focus is on the practical side of software development through realistic/real-life projects.

Overview of software development techniques and environments; advanced use of basic software development tools, including version control and document management tools; Realistic or real-life project development.
