Composition of the soil; physical properties of soils; parent materials of soils, soil classification (soil taxonomy); mineralogy of soils and clays; organic matter of the soil; nutrient contents and dynamics of the compounds; absorption capacity; exchange capacity and composition of exchangeable cations; exchange adsorption anions; Soil acidity; soils of the tropics; chemical amelioration techniques; nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilisers, soil abuse.
