To enable students to understand the details of plant breeding systems and how these affect plant distribution and evolution.

Contents

Pollination ecology, breeding systems, patterns of gene flow through pollen and seed dispersal, flower arrangement and phenology, and implications of reproductive biology for demography, elements of palynology. Labs: Group and individual projects.
