Candidates applying for admission into undergraduate programmes of study the Faculty of Science should meet the minimum admission requirements of the University of Buea, namely
- A pass in at least two subjects in the G.C.E. Advanced Level
- A pass in at least four subjects, including English Language, in the Ordinary Level
- A pass in the Baccalauréat examination
- Candidates who do not have a pass in the GCE Ordinary Level English Language are expected to provide proof of English language proficiency, or take and pass an English language proficiency test.
Candidates must also have at least a pass grade in GCE ordinary level Mathematics or an equivalent grade.
